ANKC CONFORMATION ACHIEVEMENTS

Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of Qld Inc 13th National Show
Judge: Ms. Nada Nikolic (Denmark)
11.08.2023 Intermediate Dog Class - 4th Place
Critique: “ 20 months old, liver nose boy, good size and good body proportion, lovely head with round amber eyes, flat skull, good muzzle, neck a bit short, good foot, moderate angulation front and rear, good top line, good croup and tail setting, lovely ridge, nice coat and colour, lovely temperament. He does need some more ring practice. He's a very nice boy, so he just needs more time. He has good stride around the ring, and he moves parallel coming and going, nice presentation...”

Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of Qld Championship Show
Judge: Mrs. Sue Cameron-Codognotto (Victoria)
11.06.2022 Minor in Show
Critique: " First time for both the dog and the handler in the show ring and both should be commended on their performance. This 7-month brown nosed elegant male is of lovely breed type. He has good pigment and correct eye colour on a breed typical head that flows into a lovely neck. He is well balanced fore and after, with good balanced bone. Ideally, I would prefer to see a better return of upper arm on him, but he is well ribbed back, and has a good ridge. He has lovely well let down hocks which is rarely seen nowadays..."

The Rhodesian Ridgeback Standard ANKC:

The Rhodesian Ridgeback should represent a well-balanced, strong, muscular, agile, and active dog, symmetrical in outline and capable of great endurance with a fair amount of speed. The emphasis is on agility, elegance, and soundness with no tendency towards massiveness.
