What a weekend for Moja!

We were down in Brisbane for the Track and Search State Titles, and last night Moja earned his Track and Search Dog Excellent (TSDX) title under judge Bruce Berry (Pending Dogs QLD) who awarded him a ‘Very Good’ grading. He completed his track in under 20 minutes.

For this test, Moja had to locate an unknown missing person on an 800m suburban track, 80% of which was hard surface (streets), with 4–6 directional changes. The track had been aged for 2–4 hours and was run after dark.

Track and Search is incredibly labour-intensive, so a huge thank you to Liz Buchanan and everyone who made this trial possible.

Moja also passed another Masters Interior search at a Scent Work trial under judge Stephanie Yoon and he rounded out his sporting weekend with a bit of Lure Coursing for fun.

Safe to say we’ll both be sleeping soundly tonight!
