We had an awesome time at the Sheltie Scent Work trial over the long weekend. Moja qualified in his last needed Excellent Vehicle Search so we now move into Masters for this search element! The Excellent level requires the dog to find 3 odours (Birch, Anise, Clove or Cypress) which can be accessible and inaccessible hides, and ignore all food and non food distractors while working through complex scent problems such as converging and pooling odour. In this case, one of the food distractors was a cream filled wafer! He also qualified in his Excellent Container Search at this trial too. I am super proud of him and as you can tell in the video below, he just loves this sport! We have one more trial until the QLD State Titles - so the count down begins!

Moja celebrating his win with one of his best friends Harlow below (Chilolo TBY Harlow Gold (A.I.) SWN).
